Why Zakat Is Important In Islam? Meaning Of Zakat

Meaning Of Zakat:

The meaning of zakat is to get rid of dirt, that is, zakat becomes obligatory on every property on which a year passes, and zakat has to be paid on that thing.

And they give alms so that there may be blessings in old age and blessings in wealth. All troubles and troubles may be removed.

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are three things that whoever does that will taste the taste of faith and worship only Allah and believe that there is no worship except Allah. It is not proper for him to pay Zakat on his wealth every year in such a way that his soul is happy with it and he is ready for it.

Benefit:

The status of Zakat is evident from the fact that it is mentioned with Tawheed and it is clear from this hadith that it enhances the taste of faith (Hayat-ul-Muslimeen).

Promise Not To Pay Zakat:

There are some people who do not observe Zakat as meaningless and pointless and do not pay Zakat on anything but want to increase their wealth and think that if we pay Zakat then it is in our wealth. The following hadith is mentioned as Eid for such people.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever is given wealth by Allaah, then he should not pay Zakat on it. There will be two dots above both eyes (this snake is very poisonous) that snake will be put like a shackle around the neck of the miser who does not pay zakat (ie it will get wrapped around his neck) Will sing and reap and will say I am your wealth I am your accumulated wealth! Then you read this verse of Surah Al-Imran.

ولا یحسبن الذین یبخلون بما اتاھم اللہ من فضله ھو خیرالھم بل ھو شرلھم سیطوقون ما بخلوا به یوم القیامة (آل عمران :۱۸۰)

Translation: And let not those who are niggardly think of the wealth which Allah has bestowed on them of His bounty (and do not pay Zakat on it) that wealth is better for them, On the Day of Resurrection, the wealth in which they were stingy (and did not pay Zakat) will be thrown around their necks.

Listen, you people! What a great promise has been made not to pay Zakat. Please pay Zakat on your wealth, otherwise you will be punished on the Day of Resurrection.

Encouragement Of Charity:

It is narrated on the authority of Asmaa bint Abi Bakr that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, And how much of it should I give to Allah? If you give account in His way, He will give you account, and if you give unaccounted, He will pour out His blessings on you without reckoning, and amass wealth. Do not keep it closed, otherwise Allah will deal with you in the same way (the doors of mercy and blessings will be closed on you, God willing). Stay (Sahih Muslim, Sahih Bukhari, Ma'arif Al-Hadith).

Deserving Of Charity:

There are some people who give alms in the hands of rich people. Deserving people are mentioned.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Sailana goes round and round and returns with one or two bites or one or two dates (when they are placed on his hand). Because he hides his condition from people (no one feels the need to be helped by charity) nor does he walk around and ask people (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, Ma'arif) Hadith).

Concealing Your Needs:

There are some people who, when the slightest misfortune befalls them, clap their hands and make it known all over the world that this happened to me today, this happened to me today and in this case Tawurit is very famous. Which exaggerates a small problem so much.

While there are some people who are afflicted with great calamities like mountains, but they bear it very well and are patient with it. The more they are kept secret, the more they will be rewarded and the sooner the matter will be resolved.

It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: And whoever puts it before Allah Almighty and prays to Him, it is to be hoped that Allah Almighty will soon relieve him of this need or he may die soon (if he dies). (Sunan Abi Dawood, Ma'arif Al-Hadith).

The Reality Of Charity:

It is not only charity to help someone with money, but it is also charity to smile and talk to a Muslim brother. It is also charity to tell someone a good thing. There are small virtues and doing them is rewarded like charity and this is the reality of charity.

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr Ghaffari that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: It is a charity to smile a little for the sake of your brother's happiness. It is a charity to show the way, it is a charity to help a person who has weak eyesight, it is a charity to remove stones, thorns and bones from the path.

And pouring water from one's bucket into one's brother's bucket is also a charity.

It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Every Muslim who plants or cultivates a tree eats the fruit of that tree or its field, or any human or bird or any animal. Will it be a source of charity and reward for this (tree or field) servant (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, Ma'arif Al-Hadith).

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) he said: O Messenger of Allaah! Which is the best charity? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: He should do this and spend first on those for whom he is responsible (ie his wife and children).

Charity On Every Joint Of The Body:

It is a charity to give something as a token of gratitude to Allah Almighty for the joints in the human body. Which is in the following hadith.

It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There are 360 pairs in the body of all human beings. Or Alhamdulillah or La ilaha illa Allah or Subhan Allah or Istaghfarullah. Saying one of these words once counts as Sadaqah. Reward is given (Translation of Sunnah, single literature).

Also, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has instructed that if nothing else can be done for you, then help the helpless and the needy (Saheeh Bukhari) and also said: Can also (Jami 'al-Tirmidhi).

He further said that whoever removes a thorn in the side of the road, Allah Almighty appreciates his deeds and forgives his sins (Jami 'al-Tirmidhi, Sira al-Nabi).

The Reward Of Charity:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that a man came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: Hazrat! My father has passed away If I give alms on their behalf, will my alms become a means of expiation for evil and forgiveness and salvation for them? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Yes!

This is the statement of Sadaqah and Zakat etc., the reality of Sadaqah has been revealed and as far as Zakat is concerned, Zakat is obligatory on everything, ie Zakat is paid on every property on which the year passes, whether it is clothes or household utensils or Whether the field is vegetable or fruit, gold or silver, Zakat becomes obligatory even on money.

So this is typed, complete! Next, we pray to Allah to grant us the ability to give charity and also the courage to pay Zakat and then grant us victory (Amen and then Amen).
